Today Friends of the Earth have organised a rally at West Yorkshire Mayor’s Annual General Meeting. This has been a great opportunity to remind the West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) and Ms Tracy Brabin, the elected West Yorkshire Mayor, how important it is to prioritise action on their climate pledges! UBI Lab Leeds participated with the demand ‘When does WYCA introduce a Waste and Pollution Levy to fight the Climate Crisis and finance a Basic Income for ALL people in West Yorkshire?’.
